Clans are an integral part of the politics of the Ancient Mists. Here are some basic rules and guidelines you should know before joining or starting a clan:
1 |
All clan members will have a description on their character before joining a clan, they will also have a history listed. Clan members must have an RPflag before and after joining. |
2 |
No one is allowed to have an Alt in the same clan as their main character, or in another clan. This is to prevent use of characters as spies and give us a realistic roster of members. |
3 |
Any player carrying Clan EQ which is not their own clans, or stolen EQ, must be PK while it is in their possession. |
4 |
Clan members are expected to be In Character 99% of the time. This means through RP, and RpNotes. Any members not fully participating with this will lose their clan membership. If the lack of IC activity becomes a clan-wide issue, then the clan will be harshly penalized, with the possible loss of Territories, Clan EQ, Tribute, and possibly even Clan Status. Remember, that RpNotes are there for players to know what is going on in the Realm, so any major Rp that happens that you are involved in, should be RpNoted. |
5 |
If any player joins or leaves a clan, then this should be accompanied with full RP, and RPnotes from both the player and a clan leader. Failure to do so could result in penalties at the Immortals' discretion. |
6 |
Any clan related PK attempts, by you, or against you, should be RpNoted. |
7 |
Clan members may assist other members of the same clan regardless of level, spell-ups and EQ gathering will be allowed from one clan member to another in the same clan. But, this rule only applies to those clan members that are fully active within the Realm. |
8 |
All clan members will be held more accountable to following the details in Help Rules. Clans are the foundation on the mud, and as such, should be more aware of what should, or shouldn't be done. |
9 |
Active clan members are those that log in regularly, and participate with IC activity within the Realm. This will include RP, in person and in FS, when the situation allows, and also in RpNote form in response to any major IC activity. Players that will be absent for a period of time due to RL matters, should note to Immortal about this, so it can be taken into account. |
